Blacksteel Energy Inc. Announces Trading Resumed

Blacksteel Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BEY) ("Blacksteel" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that trading in its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange will resume at the opening of trading on December 12, 2014. Trading was halted on May 20, 2014 by the Corporation in anticipation of a proposed transaction to acquire Alcan Fluid Disposal Ltd., Peace Drilling and Research Ltd. and Integrated Resource Technologies Ltd. (the "Proposed Transaction"). The Proposed Transaction has been terminated as outlined in its press release dated October 17, 2014. The Corporation continues to look for opportunities to create shareholder value.
