COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - January 07, 2015) - Ecliptek Corporation, an established leader in the manufacturing of frequency control products, has launched its evaluation of the European Chemicals Agency's (ECHA) latest Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) that was updated December 17, 2014 to include six new substances:
- Cadmium fluoride
- Cadmium sulphate
- 2-benzotriazol-2-yl-4,6-di-tert-butylphenol (UV-320)
- 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4,6-ditertpentylphenol (UV-328)
- 2-ethylexyl 10-ethyl-4,4-dioctyl-7-oxo-8-oxa-3,5-dithia-4-stannatetradecanoate (DOTE)
- Reaction mass of 2-ethylhexyl 10-ethyl-4,4dioctyl-7-oxo-8-oxa-3, 5-dithia-4-stannatetradecanoate and 2-ethylhexyl 10-ethyl-4[(2-[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]-2oxoethyl]thio]-4-octyl-7-oxo-8-oxa-3,5-dithia-4-stannatetradecanoate (reaction mass of DOTE and MOTE)
In order to be compliant to the ECHA regulation, Ecliptek will finalize its impact assessment of the six new SVHCs and complete the updating of the automated REACH documentation of the more than 3,000,000 unique part numbers on its website on or before June 17, 2015.
