Francisco brings a depth of knowledge and experience to Global IR Group that includes investment banking, sell-side equity research and market analysis focused on Latin America. Emerging market investors and companies alike respect Francisco's experience and knowledge of the region. His background makes him familiar with the type and quality of communications that sell-side analysts and portfolio managers demand of public companies. Francisco will be heading up the New York operations of Global IR Group with an emphasis on growing the firm's presence throughout Latin America.

Prior to joining Global IR Group, Francisco held senior positions with HSBC, Bear Stearns and Citigroup where he was responsible for covering the consumer and retail industries in Latin America and other emerging markets. Francisco covered most segments of these industries including restaurants, mass merchandisers, apparel companies and pawn shop operators.
In addition to his equity research and investment banking experience, Francisco has been a successful small business owner, launching a private company valuation practice in New York. Francisco holds a BSc in Economics from ITAM in Mexico and an MBA from Queen's University in Canada. Francisco is fluent in English and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese. He is a CFA charter holder.
