SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 12, 2015) - Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP, a preeminent litigation and business law firm working both nationally and internationally, announces the elevations of Natalie Holden and Robert Nolan in the San Francisco office and David Goh in the Hong Kong office to partner.

In her practice, Holden defends manufacturers and distributors of various products from wrongful death, catastrophic injury and major property loss claims. She has extensive experience with U.S. litigation coordination for a major European automobile manufacturer that includes partnering with local counsel, directing and implementing litigation strategy and developing liability defense. Holden's counseling extends to all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, all aspects of discovery, law and motion practice, preparation for trial and trial. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law (2006) and B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (2002).

Nolan focuses on commercial and general litigation. He has handled a diverse array of cases in both federal and state court and has experience in all aspects of litigation, including deposition, oral argument, motion practice and trial. Nolan represents clients in a number of industries and across a wide variety of practice areas, including unfair competition, trade secrets, employment, construction, civil rights, consumer class actions, trademark, false advertising, antitrust, securities litigation and real estate. He also represents board committees and individuals in internal investigations and before government regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice. Nolan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (2004) and his B.A. from Tufts University (1998).

Goh has significant experience in large, complex and international commercial disputes, with particular emphasis on corporate issues and product liability matters. He also advises clients on transactional, regulatory matters, compliance, and anti-bribery/corruption cases, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act. His experience includes leading or coordinating investigations on behalf of both corporations and regulators, as well as advising or acting in the defense of any prosecutions. Goh also has significant experience handling corporate and commercial matters across the Asia Pacific region. He is admitted to practice in Hong Kong, Singapore, England and Wales. Goh earned his LL.B., with honors, from the National University of Singapore (1996).
