Love Birds Migrate to Boston Marriott Long Wharf This Valentine's Day

The Hotel's Waterfront Restaurant, Waterline, Offers up a Romantic Prix Fixe Menu and Welcoming Champagne Toast for Couples

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 9, 2015) - Romance and temptation go hand in hand this Valentine's Day at Boston Marriott Long Wharf. This holiday, the hotel's quietly intimate waterfront restaurant, Waterline, offers up a delicious prix fixe menu, with a welcoming glass of Champagne, as well as an optional wine pairing menu, all designed for canoodling couples.

Guests looking to set out for a romantic weekend on the Boston Harbor are also invited to book the hotel's Couples Getaway deal, which includes accommodations in a deluxe guest room with king bed, a welcome bottle of champagne delivered upon arrival to the room and breakfast for two at Waterline. Waterline Executive Chef Joseph Chaves' soul-satisfying culinary style draws from his deep roots in New England, and always features the freshest ingredients.

Overlooking the Boston Harbor, the restaurant offers up three courses this February 14th. To begin, diners will enjoy either a Mesculin Salad with Thyme-Infused Pomegranate Balsamic, Crusted Chevre and Candied Spiced Walnuts, or a Cauliflower Coconut Soup with Buttered Brioche Croutons.

Main course selections include: Seared Spiced Long Island Duck Breast with Roasted Heirloom Carrots, Potato Puree, Golden Raisins and Pine Nuts; Cider-Brined Grilled Heritage Farm Pork Chop with Brussel Sprouts, Butternut Squash, Pancetta and Apple Shallot Jam; or Butter-Basted Sea Scallops with Crispy Confit Potato, Miatake Mushrooms and Apple Blossom Salad. For a sweet finale-to-share, there is a choice of Double Chocolate Raspberry Brownie, or White Chocolate and Raspberry Panna Cotta.

Because romance calls for a toast, a glass of Champagne is included in the $75 per person price, and a carefully selected wine pairing menu is also available for $30 per person (please note, tax and gratuity are additional).

Waterline is located within the Boston Marriott Long Wharf hotel, right next to the MBTA's Aquarium station. Restaurant reservations can be made by calling 617-227-3838.
