Community Works and Congressional Committee on Cuban Affairs Aim for New Economic Development in Cuba

OTTAWA, Feb. 13, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Since the announcement from President Barrack Obama on the end of long-standing U.S. embargo with Cuba, a new movement on Capitol Hill has formed to initiate lobbying for new business development in Cuba.

Community Works Ontario and Congressional Committee on Cuban Affairs have entered a cooperative endeavor to engage programs with non-governmental organisations, private sector companies, and other international partners to enhance Cuba's economy, which will influence multilateral affairs amongst Member States of United Nations.

Cary Lee Peterson of Robert Peterson & Fields Associates, a legal advisor of the newly established North American-Cuban civil society committee comments, "U.S. Congress is an important factor for our plans in Cuba." The member organisation anticipates new development that will enable growth of Cuba's gross national product to bring Cuba up to speed with the global economy.

Community Works Ontario will further its involvement with the Washington, D.C. based political action committee over the next months to provision its first steps for deployment of international affairs.
