Talent Board Reveals Details of Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium

Three-Day Event to Unite Talent Acquisition and HR Leaders With Leading Industry Influencers; Includes 2015 Candidate Experience Awards Reception and Banquet

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 13, 2015) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and data benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, today shared details of the Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium, which will take place at the Hilton Fort Worth in Texas from Wednesday, September 30 - Friday, October 2, 2015.

The three-day event will include keynote addresses, informative panels and roundtable discussions featuring key Talent Acquisition and HR experts including several previous Candidate Experience (CandE) Award winners. In addition, the symposium will spotlight findings from the 2015 CandE Awards research and announce the organizational winners of the 2015 awards program at a special ceremony and reception scheduled to take place on the evening of Thursday, October 1, 2015.

Over the last five years, Talent Board has established itself as the foremost authority on candidate experience, collecting and analyzing survey data from more than 150 companies and 95,000 job seekers in 2014 alone. At this year's Symposium, talent acquisition and HR practitioners of all levels of experience will gather to discuss candidate experience practices and ways to improve the recruiting function. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of the current state of candidate experience, including candidate behaviors, preferred methods of communication and overall expectations, and take away actionable insights that can be used to improve talent acquisition efforts at their organizations.

In anticipation of the more than 300 projected attendees, the agenda for the Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium will be expanded to cover additional talent acquisition, recruiting and HR trends and topics. Founding board members Gerry Crispin, chief navigator at CareerXroads; Ed Newman, vice president of Strategy for iMomentous; and Elaine Orler, chief executive officer and founder, Talent Function, will showcase the latest research results and highlight the future of Talent Board. This year's Symposium also expects to see a number of new presenters plus the return of several speakers from the 2014 event, an overview of the agenda for last year is available online. A complete list of speakers will be available with the event agenda in mid-June.

The 2015 CandE Awards mark the start of a new phase in benchmarking and recognizing candidate experience practices as the program expands on a global level. Now in its fifth year of research in North America, and fourth year for the U.K., the program has grown to encompass several other countries in the EMEA region. In addition, the CandE Awards APAC program is expected to open this summer. As the program reaches more candidates and companies, the primary goal of Talent Board remains the same: to recognize excellence in candidate experience. The CandE Awards program enables participating employers to understand how job seekers perceive their employment brand and rate their experiences in applying to the company, while providing benchmarks on how recruiting, application and onboarding processes compare to those of the other participating organizations. "The Candidate Experience Awards continue to grow exponentially year over year, confirming that more and more employers recognize that the recruiting experience is dependent on the candidate and their experience in the process," said Elaine Orler, Talent Board co-founder and chairman, and CEO of Talent Function. "We developed the first Candidate Experience Symposium as a venue to share success stories and advance the recruiting function. This year's symposium will accomplish all that and more with new research topics and discussions as well as the 2015 Awards reception. We anticipate a truly one-of-a-kind industry event. "
