Government of Canada provides funding to Annapolis Board of Trade


ANNAPOLIS ROYAL, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - May 19, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced funding of $6,400 for the Annapolis Board of Trade.

The group will use this funding to present the third edition of ARTs Unleashed! in Annapolis Royal from August 15 to 23. Area residents and visitors will be able to enjoy musical performances, art exhibits, local heritage and cultural talks, along with workshops in blacksmithing and printing.

Funding for ARTs Unleashed! is provided through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program.

  • The Annapolis Board of Trade is a local non-profit organization that promotes and celebrates local culture and heritage in Annapolis Royal.
