YC Alberta: Unstoppable

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 20, 2015) - Spreading the message of hope to thousands of youth across Alberta, YC AB 2015 will inspire and encourage young Albertans to live their lives for the purposes of God.

Much more than awesome music and activities - YC Alberta is an event where youth are challenged through workshops and music to experience the unstoppable power of God. The event is set to take place May 22-24, 2015, at Rexall Place and the Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

Mike Love, Executive Director of Extreme Dream Ministries explains, "Our theme this year is 'unstoppable' and our goal is to remind students that God's plan for humanity is unstoppable. We will come with great expectation and pray that all who attend will experience His power and His presence at YC and beyond."

In 2014, the YC phenomenon celebrated its 20-year milestone, and over the years has grown from 500 students in a small gymnasium, to draw crowds of over 16,000 delegates in Alberta. More than 250,000 students have been impacted by this event that is spreading across the globe.

"We want to see more lives impacted through YC events around the world and YC Missions," says Love. "More importantly, this weekend is about setting aside our denominational differences as we become one in Christ."

YC Alberta 2015 will feature guest speakers Danielle Strickland (CA), Robert Madu (US), and musical guests Andy Mineo (USA), For King and Country (AUS), Amanda Cook from Bethel Music (USA), Bluetree (IE) and the Newsboys (USA).
