US Federal Contractor Registration is reporting the release of the Road Decommissioning IDIQ in Montana posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) on June 8, 2015. The Road Decommissioning IDIQ response date is current set in record for June 23, 2015. Every business interested in bidding on the Road Decommissioning IDIQ must be properly registered in the SAM Registration, as well as have the North American Industry Classification System codes 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, and 237 - Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction filed in their SAM account/vendor profile.

The Government anticipates awarding a multiple-award IDIQ for Road Decommissioning construction services. The contract will be awarded with a base year and two option years. The total maximum contract amount will not exceed $1.0 million total over the life of the contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website on approximately 19 May 2015.

The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform road decommissioning on the Lolo and Bitterroot National Forests. This work includes various forms of road decommissioning that is necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications including road ripping and re-contouring, gate and culvert removals, stream crossing rehabilitation, applying seed/mulch/fertilizer, and mobilizing equipment to the designated point of hire.

Task Orders will be issued to order work under the contract. Task orders will include specific descriptions and maps for the work to be accomplished.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction and the small business size standard is $36.5 million.

The contract time is estimated to begin on 15 July 2015. The Government estimates making award(s) approximately 29 June - 2 July 2015. Please submit questions to the Contracting Officer in writing before 14:00 MDT on Wednesday 17 June 2015. Questions submitted after this date/time may not receive a response, because the Government needs to ensure that all prospective offerors have a reasonable opportunity to acknowledge any potential amendments issued and adjust offers if necessary.
