Celebs join Alki David for his Lord of the Freaks Premiere and Hologram Party

Flo Rida, Janice Dickinson, and more viewed shocking new doc

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hollywood turned out at the Egyptian Theater June 29th for the premier of Lord of the Freaks, the documentary which released digitally via iTunes and other platforms today. The film's subject, Greek billionaire and media mogul Alki David, welcomed to the red carpet Janice Dickinson and Andy Dick who are both pivotal figures in the history of the online TV experiment the movied documents. Also attending were Ron Jeremy (who is in the film too), Flo Rida, Cheif Keef (who roamed the party with his entrouage on mini Segway-like Air Boards), Radio host Gary Garver, B. Howard, Natasha Alam of True Blood, Billy the Fridge, Katherine Castro, UFC's Rob McCullough and Wayne Bastrup of Terminator Genisys.

Proving the best and worst the internet can be at the same time, Lord of the Freaks shows social network BattleCam.com as a bizare playground that's like YouTube on acid. For five years Greek billionaire Alki David has presided over this mayhem, issuing potentially deadly dares, paying out huge sums of cash, and enjoying as stars of all kinds dropped by to join in. As noted on Howard Stern 100 Sirius XM radio, the Andrew Treglia directed film features appearances by , Kato Kaelin, Sasha Grey, Billy Zane, Fred Durst, Octomom, Joey Buttafouco, Amy Fisher, Corey Feldman, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Bai Ling, Chuck Zito, Gary Busey and countless others. David has just kicked off a media tour promoting the film with appearances on The Mancow Show, Howard Stern news and Playboy TV.

In the film one cameraman describes trying to keep a homeless drug addict out of the TV studio on his first day of work--that turned out to be Janice Dickinson showing up to host her show. The film also shows Alki David staging an on camera intervention for Andy Dick--who looked great at the premiere, clearly sober and strong--along side footage of him at his lowest ebb. Although the doc depicts unspeakable acts of humiliation, self-mutilation and even self-immolation, it also shows how the BattleCam social community gives many people a voice, and a place to work out the issues that plague them. At the premiere, the rambunctious BattleCammers in attendance chanted Alki David's name, and were gerneally, joyously disruptive.

At the after party, Alki David staged a spectacle with another company he owns: Hologram USA. After appearing on stage to make some final remarks--which turned out to be an off-color joke, the eccentric billionaire turned and an "ass canon" sprung from his behind and fired at the audience before he burst into flames. He was a hologram all along.

The film is available via iTunes and other digital distribution sites at $14.95. It is also streaming via FilmOn.com. The premiere party streamed live at filmon.com.
