Bosch Home Appliances Unveils New Ascenta Dishwashers

New Models Offer Premium Quiet, Performance and Design Features at Lower Price Point

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 15, 2015) - Bosch home appliances, the premiere European kitchen design brand, proudly unveils the new Ascenta dishwashers. Available now, at a starting price point of $599, the new Ascenta dishwashers combine affordability with the best of Bosch quiet, flexibility, performance and design.

Bosch continues its tradition as the quietest dishwasher brand in the US* with the new Ascenta models, which operate as quiet as 46 dBA -- 4 dBA lower than previous Ascenta units. The new Ascenta line is so quiet, a premium feature called InfoLight®, which projects a red light onto the floor during the wash cycle, has been added to let owners know the dishwasher is running.

"Bosch home appliances is proud to offer the new line of Ascenta dishwashers, which provide value-conscious consumers with access to more premium Bosch features than ever before," said Dan Kenny, director of brand marketing for Bosch. "Our dishwashers are known for offering the best in quiet, performance and European design, and this new line continues to deliver on our promise to create appliances that make life easier."

The new Ascenta dishwashers also provide superior flexibility to allow consumers to more easily clean a variety of dishes, glasses and cutlery. Innovative features include RackMatic®, an adjustable top rack with multiple levels to accommodate tall glasses or large pots and pans, and additional flip tines that fold down to create space for difficult-to-wash items. A new knife rack provides space for safe cleaning of sharp knives and tools.

With class-leading operation top of mind, Bosch has included updated cycles and options into the new Ascenta dishwashers to enhance performance. A cycle called Speed60™ transforms dishes from dirty to dry in about 60 minutes for a fast, convenient clean. For improved drying performance, an Extra Dry option increases the final rinse temperature and activates a longer drying phase to complete the cleaning process.

As a leader in modern design, Bosch is introducing a scoop handle into the new Ascenta dishwashers. The handle, which joins the current recessed and bar handle options, matches any kitchen with a neutral design. For added design flexibility, the new Ascenta models are available in three finish options, including: stainless steel, black and white.
