Radnor Veterinary Hospital Doctors: Serving the Wayne Community and Surrounding Areas


WAYNE, Pa., Aug. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wayne, Pennsylvania, pets, and their owners, have four friends in the form of doctors at Radnor Veterinary Hospital. Each of the veterinary hospital's doctors brings a unique set of talents, training and interests to the practice. Radnor Veterinary Hospital is an animal care facility located on North Aberdeen Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania. In addition to offering for the care and treatment of community dogs and cats, the AAHA accredited facility also tends to the needs of exotic pets in the area. The facility offers extended hours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in order to accommodate the after-hour pet care needs of working families in the area.

Dr. Leonard Donato has been the owner of Radnor Veterinary Hospital since February of 2001. Before that he served as an Associate Veterinarian at Rothman Animal Hospital where he cared for both traditional and non-traditional pets. Dr. Donato is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Avian Practice and a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians.

His areas of interest in veterinary medicine include orthopedics and endoscopy along with wildlife and exotic pet medicine and surgery. "The fact that we have such diverse interests among our doctors," says Dr. Donato, "Makes us a great choice for people who have everything from traditional household pets, to those that are truly unique."

Dr. Becky Ehrlich, who joined the Radnor family in 2014, earned her undergraduate degree in biology and science in society from Wesleyan University before going on to the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine. Her areas of interest include exotic animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Carla Germano is a graduate of Villanova University, Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her veterinary medicine degree in 2014 before joining the Radnor team. She is passionate about companion and exotic animal medicine as well as internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Stephen Meister is the newest addition to the Radnor family. After graduating the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine he practiced feline medicine for one year before returning to the University to participate in a veterinary dental residency program. After that, he worked as a general practitioner in Philadelphia honing his interests in dentistry, regenerative medicine and orthopedic surgery. In addition to his professional service as a dentist, Dr. Meister is also a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves Public Health Command.

Located on Aberdeen Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Radnor Veterinary Hospital has served the veterinary medicine needs of traditional household pets and exotic animals since 2001.
