Ambassador Bolton to Run Leadership Ads in IA, NH, SC, and NV

The ads aim the spotlight on GOP candidates as national security becomes primary issue for voters

WASHINGTON, Nov. 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Beginning today, and over the next two weeks, Ambassador John Bolton will run a sequence of video ads that highlight the increased significance of national security in the next election, and the important role voters have in asking the GOP presidential candidates the right and qualifying questions. The Foundation for American Security and Freedom, the Ambassador's non-profit, will spend $150,000 for the two 'ad-buys' in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada.

"As the president refuses to lead in the fight against terrorism, ISIS continues to grow in strength and territory," Bolton said. "With the recent stretch of attacks, it is of the utmost importance that our next president has the leadership credentials and national security competence to keep America safe, while taking the fight to the enemy."

The first ad, which can be seen at www.fasfreedom.com/national-security, goes live today and highlights four recent terrorist attacks. The second ad, titled "Leadership," will be released on Tuesday, December 1st. These ads follow last week's ad in four primary states titled, "The Bolton Test".

Ambassador Bolton added, "The 2016 election will be decided on national security policy. The future of America and our safety is at stake and with these ads, I hope that voters will be encouraged to ask the right foreign policy questions as they evaluate the Republican candidates for president."
