TWC Construction Announces Record Setting Year

Market Trend for Monolithic Warehouses Continues into 2016

HENDERSON, NV--(Marketwired - Dec 7, 2015) - TWC Construction, Inc. is projected to end 2015 having completed several of its largest projects since the company was founded nearly 20 years ago, bringing its business volume back to numbers not seen since before The Great Recession. The company cites the 2016 outlook is very strong as well due to high demand for new jumbo warehouses.

Prior to the economic downturn, TWC's biggest year consisted of approximately one million square feet made up of a multitude of smaller buildings. They are projected to break that record this year, but with a series of jumbo-sized concrete tilt-ups.

"There is a clear demand for construction of larger buildings, which we are known to have particular expertise," said Matt Ryba, CEO, TWC Construction. "The market trend for massive e-commerce facilities with a need for large square footage and the highest clear heights possible are contributing to the demand for new construction. Previously, 24 to 28 feet clear height was the standard, but due to advancements in forklift and racking technology that has expanded to 32- 36 feet clear height because it allows tenants to efficiently fill the buildings and therefore much more desirable to lease. Over the past year we have built or are currently building more of these types of buildings than any other contractor in the area."

Some of the larger buildings completed this year include, Las Vegas Corporate Center #19 at 464,200 square feet in North Las Vegas which was completed in April and Las Vegas Corporate Center #20 at 153,700 square feet which was completed in September. Both are 100 percent leased. Black Mountain DC3 is currently under construction in Henderson, Nevada and will be approximately 232,826 square feet. The walls of this new concrete tilt-up building are scheduled to be lifted and craned into place in mid-December 2015. The project is scheduled for an April 2016 completion date.
