Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust Announces December 2015 Distribution and Amendment to Its Distribution Reinvestment Plan

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - December 16, 2015) - Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust ("CREIT") (TSX: REF.UN) today announced its December 2015 monthly distribution in the amount of 15 cents per unit (C$1.80 annualized). The December distribution will be payable on January 15, 2016 to Unitholders of record as at December 31, 2015.

Amendment to CREIT's Distribution Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP")

CREIT also announced that commencing with the distribution payable on February 12, 2016 (to Unitholders of record as at January 29, 2016) no discount will be applied to the price at which Units are issued under the DRIP.
