Bosch Home Appliances Unveils Expanded Product Portfolio at Design and Construction Week 2016

New Products Use European Design Principles to Simplify Life in the Kitchen

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Jan 18, 2016) - Bosch home appliances (booth# C3837), the premier European kitchen design brand, is expanding its award-winning Benchmark and small spaces kitchen lines with the introduction of new cooktop and refrigeration products at Design and Construction Week 2016. With a focus on designing appliances that are "Invented for Life," Bosch home appliances provides precision technology and European design that simplifies life in every kitchen -- from the growing trend of small kitchens and secondary spaces, to the modern kitchen in single and multi-family homes.

"Bosch appliances are engineered to meet consumers' needs. Thus, when we say we are 'Invented for Life,' we truly intend to enhance the quality of life through innovations that simplify the cooking and cleaning process," said Dan Kenny, director of brand marketing for Bosch. "Our reputation for quality and reliability allows our builder and interior designer partners to present appliance packages they are proud to include in their projects."

Inspired by the Bauhaus art movement, Bosch appliances reflect the design principle of form following function to create both easy operation and peace of mind. Simple, authentic designs found throughout the Bosch portfolio seamlessly integrate into kitchens ranging from modern to transitional. These principles are demonstrated throughout the products on display at the Bosch booth at Design and Construction Week 2016, including the award-winning Benchmark SideOpening Wall Oven, Benchmark Steam Oven and 24" Glass Door Refrigerator, as well as new products debuting at the trade show:

  • The new Benchmark 36" Induction Cooktop features FlexInduction technology and enhanced features to streamline the cooking process, delivering perfect results more efficiently. PowerMove provides a convenient way to adjust power levels and cook an entire meal without adjusting temperature settings by simply moving the pot or pan through pre-set heating zones. The PreciseSelect® user interface with an extra-wide 16" control panel offers simplified operation and easy control. The new Benchmark 36" Induction Cooktop will be available in summer 2016.
  • Building on the success of the 24" kitchen suite, the new 24" Custom Panel Refrigerator, available in fall 2016, enables consumers to customize their kitchen space and achieve a truly integrated look, especially in areas of the home where space is a consideration. The 24"Custom Panel Refrigerator joins the expanding line of custom panel offerings from Bosch, which includes 30" and 36" custom panel refrigeration options, as well as 18" and 24" custom panel dishwashers. Custom panel solutions create a sleek, streamlined design that allows consumers to make the most of their kitchen, no matter the size.
