Genium Consolidated Feed (GCF), Release 3.2


Dear Customer,

On April 25, 2016,  Genium Consolidated Feed (GCF) will be updated to version 3.2. Technical details will be presented at latest on February 15, 2016. Changes are related to Nordic Fixed Income indexes and INET data.

Corresponding TIP specification version 3.2 will be published as soon as all the technical details have been confirmed, latest on February 15, 2016.


Changes related to Nordic Fixed Income Data

From April 25, 2016, Nasdaq will calculate Nordic Fixed Income indexes in Global Index Calculator.

The indexes will be connected to the GIC source that replaces the current ICS_FI source. ICS sources not affected by this migration project will continue to be available in GCF.Global Index Calculator (GIC) is represented as a source in Genium Consolidated Feed (GCF). Customers receiving index values from GCF will continue to receive the same data but from a new source. Test data will be available in GCF and GIW from March 21, 2016.

Changes related to INET
 

  • EUSIPA Instrument classification

    Nasdaq Nordic will introduce an additional reference data field for Warrants, Certificates and Exchange Traded Notes (i.e. instruments of DerivativeType [Dty] 4 = Warrant) containing EUSIPA code (http://www.eusipa.org/) for the instrument.
     
  • Mini Futures

    Descriptive name used in TIP specification for Mini Future real-time message will change from: “MiniFuture” to  “ETP”. Technical message name (tag) remains as is: “Mf”. There will be changes also related underlying information handling on Mini futures data. Details will be provided with the TIP release.


Testing

Release will be available for testing in GCF EXT4 test system on March 14, 2016. Possible further details will be informed via IT Notices and our GCF web site.
