WALNUT CREEK, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 4, 2016) - MassMutual Northern California, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), today announced that Greg Cohn, a fifteen-year veteran of the Agency, has been promoted to co-General Agent of MassMutual Northern California. This is a new position which Cohn will share with Robert Fakhimi, president and CEO of MassMutual Northern California. Fakhimi is also General Agent of MassMutual's San Jose office. The Northern California region of MassMutual has offices in Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Fremont and Roseville.

Cohn, who has been in the field for 20 years, has won numerous awards during his time at MassMutual, most notably winning the MassMutual 2013 Gold Bowl for being the number one Sales Manager nationwide. In addition, Cohn has twice been honored with the 2014 General Agent and Managers Association's Brian H. Early Frontline Excellence Award which is given to the top sales managers nationwide.
Prior to achieving the top sales manager spot nationwide, Cohn finished in the top three seven times in the last dozen years -- hitting second place three times and third place three times out of the more than 500 sales managers in the MassMutual organization.
