ThreatStream Announces Two New Executive Hires

Management Team Expanded to Support Burgeoning Threat Analysis Platform


REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 24, 2016) - ThreatStream, the provider of the market-leading Optic threat intelligence platform, today announced recent additions to its executive team to help meet the needs of the company's burgeoning threat analysis platform. Mark Seward was appointed vice president of marketing, and Anthony Aragues was named vice president of product management. Both will report to CEO Hugh Njemanze.

Seward, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), has more than 15 years of experience as a security practitioner and has held a number of leadership positions in product management and product marketing. Prior to joining ThreatStream, Seward served as vice president product marketing at Exabeam, a leading provider of user behavior intelligence. Before Exabeam, he was senior director, security and compliance marketing, at Splunk, where he was responsible for security use-case marketing and messaging for the company's real-time operational intelligence product. His tenure has also included positions at Symantec, Qualys and LogLogic. Mark has a Master of Science degree in information technology from the University of Maryland and holds a federal chief information officer certification.

Aragues brings a wide range of technical and business experience to guiding security products. He started his career in technology and security in the military in 1997. He has been focused on threat intelligence since 2008 with the start of McAfee's Global Threat Intelligence program, where he invented multiple patented threat intelligence products. Aragues most recently led engineering and product management at Norse. He has a computer information systems degree from Strayer University.
