“Whether it is for troubleshooting or to simply help better analyze and understand events that are taking place at incredible speeds, there are a number of industries and applications that benefit from high-speed cameras,” says Rick Robinson, Director of Marketing for Vision Research. “The new Phantom Miro C110 will make high-speed imaging more accessible to more people through its ease-of-use and affordability.”

“Vision Research has the industry’s broadest line of digital high-speed imaging products and accessories. So whether the application calls for the leading-edge Phantom v2512 capable of over 25,000 frames-per-second (fps) at 1Mpx, or a workhorse entry-level camera capable of 1,000 fps, we offer it. The Miro C110 broadens that offering even more.”

The new Miro C-110 boasts a 12-bit,½ inch CMOS sensor (color or monochrome) that’s capable of recording 800 frames-per-second (fps) at its full 1280x1084 resolution. Higher speeds, up to 29,840 fps, are possible at smaller resolutions. Offering the ideal blend of speed, image quality and ease-of-use, C110 is the perfect go-to camera for a number of applications, such as industrial troubleshooting as well as mechanical and motion analysis. Moreover, the C110 leverages common BNC and Ethernet connectors, making the camera easy to work with, and its compact size allows it to be placed virtually anywhere.

Thanks to the Miro C110’s 8GB of internal memory, users can record up to five seconds at the camera’s full resolution and maximum frame rate. In addition, as is available with Vision Research’s higher-end, ultrahigh-speed cameras, C110 cameras are controlled using the powerful Phantom Camera Control (PCC) software suite, which makes navigating and adjusting the camera’s settings a breeze. To further simplify the way users capture images, PCC also offers a number of key features such as Image-Based Auto-Trigger, Multi-Cine and Continuous Recording.

Key Specifications of the Phantom Miro C-110:

  • 12-bit 1.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor
