Shaw Closes WIND Acquisition


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - March 1, 2016) - Shaw Communications Inc. ("Shaw") (TSX:SJR.B)(NYSE:SJR) today confirms that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of Mid-Bowline Group Corp. ("Mid-Bowline") and its wholly-owned subsidiary, WIND Mobile Corp., for an enterprise value of approximately $1.6 billion.
