He also has extensive Board experience including Cylance, GitLab, Helium, and Mesosphere.

"Bruce is a seasoned technology executive and board member, and I look forward to working with him," said Big Switch CEO Douglas Murray. "Big Switch has continued to impress the entire team at Khosla Ventures with the company's rapid innovation and accelerated growth as a result of widespread adoption," said Bruce Armstrong, Operating Partner at Khosla Ventures. "It's a critical period for the industry and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to join Big Switch's Board of Directors to apply my previous experiences to help guide the company toward continued growth and success."

Big Switch started 2016 off with its Series C funding of $48.5M and continued to redefine data center networking with the release of Big Monitoring Fabric 5.5 and Big Cloud Fabric 3.5. The company also recently introduced Community Edition, an industry-first freemium offering for data center networking. The freemium software is a perpetual license of both Big Monitoring Fabric and Big Cloud Fabric that can be downloaded for use in lab and development environments.
