Vanderbilt Financial Group and Greater New York Electric Auto Association Host Earth Day Electric Car Show


WOODBURY, NY--(Marketwired - April 19, 2016) - Vanderbilt Financial Group will be hosting an Earth Day Car Show with the Greater New York Electric Auto Association on Saturday April 23rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This event is open to the public and will showcase several Electric Vehicles in celebration of Earth Day.

The Greater New York chapter of the Electric Auto Association will be encouraging members to bring their electric cars to show off and share with fellow Electric Vehicle owners and enthusiasts. Vanderbilt Financial Group will make their two Electric Car Charging Stations available for use during the event. Vanderbilt is Long Island's first LEED Platinum office building due to their excellence in sustainability and clean energy. Their 295 panel solar array powers the car charging stations.

This will be the third event in Vanderbilt Financial Group's Earth Week Celebrations, following a United States Green Building Council tour of their LEED Platinum headquarters and an Earth Day Open House for their Advisors and Clients to learn sustainable practices for their everyday lives.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to become an Electric Auto Association member for free. The gathering will feature Teslas, several BMWs from Habberstad BMW, and more. Stop by to admire and learn about Electric Vehicles with fellow owners and admirers.
