High Tech Tools for Insurers and Reinsurers to Be Examined at Ultimate Risk Solutions Conference


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 2, 2016) - Ultimate Risk Solutions (URS), a global analytics and financial risk modeling firm, will bring together leaders from academia and the insurance industry to examine the latest technology available for informed decision making in a conference May 11 in New York City.

Neil Jacobstein, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Co-Chair at Singularity University and former CEO of Teknowledge Corporation, will lead a discussion about how Artificial Intelligence is being used in credit risk analysis and investment decisions.

A round table on "Emerging Trends in Quantitative Enterprise Risk Management" will feature Sridhar Manyem, Director of Financial Services Rating at Standard & Poor's; Thomas Mount, Vice President, A. M. Best Company; and Elisabetta Russo, Enterprise Risk Management Advisor at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. A panel of Chief Risk Officers will discuss "The Evolving Role of the Chief Risk Officer in Insurance Decision Making." A session on "Empirical Testing of Economic Scenario Generators" and an Interactive Workshop led by Alex Bushel, Founder and Chairman of URS, will complete the program.
