Varonis DatAnywhere extends the usability of corporate file-sharing infrastructure by enabling traditional on-premises file servers and NAS devices to appear to end users like cloud-based file-sharing services. DatAnywhere is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, iOS and Android devices. In the newly published Forrester Wave™ for Enterprise File Sync And Share Platforms, Hybrid Solutions, Varonis DatAnywhere was identified as one of the ten most significant providers.
As part of the DatAnywhere 3.0 beta release, Varonis is enhancing its auditing capabilities. According to a study conducted by the Ponemon Institute, only 22% of employees say their organization is able to tell them what happened to lost data, files or emails, indicating a fundamental gap in auditing file activity. DatAnywhere 3.0 has enhanced auditing to augment security, reporting and third-party integrations. DatAnywhere 3.0 also includes support for third-party MDM solutions like Airwatch.
