Kinetic Data Announces Customer Awards at Annual User Conference: KEG 2016

The "Wally Awards" Recognize Aegon Transamerica, Schneider Electric, Konica Minolta and Other Customers for Innovation Using Kinetic Request

ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwired - June 02, 2016) -   Kinetic Data has wrapped up its fifth annual Kinetic Enthusiast Group (KEG) with the Wally Awards which recognize customers who have demonstrated Kinetic Data's core values in IT application development and integration: agility, innovation, open design and teamwork.

Every year KEG brings together enterprise developers and managers from the private and public sectors to see what's new in self-service, cloud management, automation, low-code platforms, customer experience and how Kinetic Data products can help their organizations refine and manage business processes.

"The Wally represents everything Kinetic Data stands for, so we like to celebrate those same values within our customers," said Ben Christianson, senior developer at Kinetic Data. "Kinetic Request CE is incredibly easy to use, allowing our customers to be creative and make a difference in their organizations."

The Wally Awards recognize achievements by organizations and individuals in several categories:

"Innovator of the Year" was awarded to Schneider Electric for building an app store, successfully completing multiple integrations, adapting technologies for a multi-lingual customer base, and creating a native mobile app for approvals to accompany their catalog implementation.

The coveted "Integrator of the Year" award was given to Aegon Transamerica. The company integrated hundreds of business systems into one common interface using Kinetic Request and Kinetic Task. This winner supports over 30 million users.

Konica Minolta's All Covered division received the "Community Compatriot" award for quickly becoming a strong advocate of Kinetic products and for building a web console that fits the unique needs of the enterprise.

In a new category leveraging the 'Train' theme of this year's KEG awards, the "All Aboard Award" was given to one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. This team accomplished migrating twelve districts to the same platform, a challenging task at many large companies.

In the "Spirit of Kinetic" category, Lisa Gyori was recognized for her exemplary work with a large medical products manufacturer and service provider. "Lisa takes ownership, is extremely creative, and is a delight to work with…" read her nomination form.

"Rookie of the Year" was awarded to one of the largest multinational big box retailers for their rapid adoption of Kinetic Request CE, and their continuing efforts to stretch the boundaries of the application. This team's enthusiasm is evident. With an August 1st go-live on the horizon, one team member was quoted as saying, "I want to work with Kinetic Data for the rest of my career."

"Kinetic Data applications strive to simplify the complex," said Kinetic Data President John Sundberg. "Kinetic products have helped hundreds of organizations automate and integrate some very complex business problems into solutions that 'simply work.'"

KEG attendees will have ample opportunity to experiment with Kinetic Request CE before a week-long "Virtual Hackathon" kicks off on Friday, June 17, 2016, when Kinetic Data will announce the theme for a development contest with a set of simple requirements and guidelines. Developers are invited to download Kinetic Request CE at no cost, experiment, and pre-register at http://developer.kineticdata.com. Pre-registrants will receive an email with the topic and requirements four hours before the information is published online. Once a developer has completed their solution they simply upload it to a designated website. Prizes will be awarded to four winning submissions. Official full contest rules will be posted on the site prior to June 17.
