RIO DE JANIERO, Aug. 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Feeld http://feeld.co/ - (formerly known as 3nder), a dating app for curious, open-minded singles and couples, has gone live around the world on Google Play - exciting news for the more than 80K people on the waiting list. Members of Feeld for Android will join the more than 1.57M people who have downloaded Feeld on iOS since its launch in June 2014. The next generation dating app is available in Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Spanish, Russian and English. With the majority of its members aged 18-26, Feeld is designed for humans with open minds who embrace less restrictive social norms in relationships.
Feeld is free to use. Members sign up as singles or couples, upload photos, enter their personal interests such as travel, film or music, and share their desires. There are no restrictions - you can add as much or as little info as you like. It's about being comfortable with yourself. Members can then search for other singles and/or couples, and once matched, they can chat one on one or in groups directly in the app. The chat feature also allows members to send photos that disappear after one view.
Out of respect for users' privacy and safety, members must sign in through Facebook (to verify they are real) but they can use any profile name they want. The rebrand was announced the same day as the Android launch. Feeld expresses the intersection of exploration and feelings (feel + field = Feeld). Tinder claims the name 3nder is too close to their trademarked name, and users could possibly confuse the two. Feeld remains confident no user would ever mix the two apps up, in no small part due to the differences in design, users and company values. No one should have a monopoly on - or limit how - people love.
