Zinc Announces Three Executive Hires to Lead Rapidly Growing Team

Industry Veterans From Oracle, Mixpanel, and Adobe Join to Lead Product, Customer, and Sales Teams

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2016) - Today, Zinc (www.zinc.it), an enterprise software company offering a full-featured mobile messaging platform that employees love, with the security and administrative features that businesses need, announced three key additions to the leadership team. The company welcomed John Stetic as Chief Product Officer, John (JD) Dila as VP of Customer Success, and Ken Webster as VP of Sales, each of whom bring a wealth of experience in enterprise technology leadership to the company. The announcement comes just three months after Zinc's launch with funding from Emergence Capital Partners and Charles River Ventures.

"People drive performance, and strong leadership is imperative to building a successful business with delighted customers," said Stacey Epstein, CEO of Zinc. "We have an enormous opportunity to help companies realize the business benefits of secure, enterprise messaging. With John's, Ken's, and JD's leadership and expertise added to the existing team, we can't lose."

As Chief Product Officer, John Stetic will drive the development of Zinc's platform, and oversee its evolution in the coming years. John previously served as Group Vice President of Product at Oracle, where he lead the global engineering and product management teams building the market-leading Oracle Marketing Cloud. John has also held executive positions at Eloqua, Blueprint Software Systems, and Novell. He also co-founded Platespin, which was acquired by Novell.

"Zinc's enormous potential is clear -- it was an essential tool for my team at Oracle," Stetic said. "It's a simple, but elegant solution to a fundamental problem: helping people stay connected and providing them with the information they need in real time. Everyone who uses Zinc, from a customer-facing front line employee to executive management, finds that it transforms the way they communicate one-on-one, with groups, and with the broader organization. I'm excited to keep driving the product forward with the vision of making every worker a connected worker."

John Dila joins Zinc as Vice President of Customer Support and Service. Dila previously served as Vice President of Support & Experience at mobile analytics startup Mixpanel, and Chief Customer Officer at Demandforce following its acquisition by Intuit. As Zinc scales, he will implement strategic and tactical focus around adoption, engagement, and retention. Dila will ensure that the company continues to foster a customer-first perspective resulting in a fanatically loyal customer base.

Ken Webster also comes on board as Zinc's new VP of Sales. Ken joins from Adobe, where he served as the Director of North American Enterprise Sales for the Adobe Document Cloud. At Zinc, Ken will grow the company's high performing sales organization and bolster its customer base. Ken has also held executive sales positions at Cisco and RedPrairie Corporation.
