Richard (Dick) Lilly, Veteran Software Entrepreneur, "Tells It Like It Was" Over 50 Years Ago to IMTS-TV

HAMPTON, NH--(Marketwired - Sep 22, 2016) -  Richard (Dick) Lilly, founder of LillyWorks, the  new, revolutionary cloud-based software system and an easy-to-understand method of executing and planning on the shop floor, was spotlighted during the just-concluded International Manufacturing Technology Show/2016 on IMTS-TV.

Emilie Barta, spokesperson, welcomed Mr. Lilly to IMTS, saying that, "Dick Lilly is motivated by one goal: to give manufacturers a simple way to solve the problems that get in the way of on-time performance."

She introduced Mr. Lilly with, "Many of us have been to several IMTS's over the years, but no one has been to as many as Dick Lilly." She marveled that the founder of LillyWorks has been to 50 IMTS events, starting in the infancy of software for manufacturers.

Mr. Lilly's history lesson commenced with his experience working with IBM in the early1960's when software for manufacturers was developed to sell System 360's, huge computers requiring their own specially constructed, air conditioned computer rooms.

The interview continued with Mr. Lilly's update of his new venture, specifically Protected Flow Manufacturing™ a new approach to shop floor execution, resource planning, and material planning and purchasing.

Mr. Lilly added, "My team and I have spent the last two years reimagining ERP and the result is LillyWorks™. Without resorting to traditional 'MRP' or 'finite scheduling' or any of the buzzwords that leave manufacturers confused and unable to protect due date promises, Protected Flow Manufacturing™ delivers on-time results in less time, every time."

The Lilly family has been innovating software for manufacturing companies since 1960. LillyWorks serves only manufacturing companies. Fully aware that the needs of manufacturers have changed since last century and that MRP II functionality is no longer good enough, LillyWorks puts Manufacturing Back in ERP™.  Lilly Works is headquartered at 4 Merrill Industrial Drive, Hampton, NH 03842, Telephone 603-926-9696 or visit www.lillyworks.com.
