Good Gaming CEO David B. Dorwart Issues January Update to Shareholders

KENNETT SQUARE, PA, Feb. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Good Gaming, Inc. (OTC PINK: GMER) (the “Company”) CEO, David B. Dorwart, is pleased to provide his latest monthly corporate update for the month of January 2018 through the issuance of this letter to shareholders.

As promised, below is a quick update about the progress we have made and continue to make towards profitability and scale.

Minecraft Division
As we begin 2018, we have high hopes for Good Gaming. In a recurring theme for our business, January once again had record revenues for Minecraft as the division continues to grow rapidly. As we stated last month, we purchased three servers (Minecade, Olimpo, and HC Games) at the beginning of January. HC Games has already been integrated into our server and we will spend the remainder of February and the month of March updating and refreshing the other two servers. We will continue to add new content on the Good Gaming server to build upon the foundation which we started last year.

Minecraft highlights for the month include:

  • Passing $15,000 in revenue for the month of January
  • Once again passing 1,000 transactions for the month
  • Setting a record with more than 800 concurrent users

We expect Minecade to come online with all refreshed content in March 2018. This server will focus on Minecraft mini-games including our version of Battle Royale. We are very excited to launch this server to our existing player base as well as to the legacy Minecade users.

Olimpo is a Spanish language server which we are very excited to launch sometime during the second quarter of this year.  At one time, Olimpo was one of the largest Spanish servers in the market. We are currently building our infrastructure to be able to launch our Minecraft programs to the Spanish-speaking community, and provide them with a great Minecraft experience in their native tongue.

Tournaments and Leagues
We are currently looking for the right partners to launch this product. We have identified several potential partners and are beginning preliminary discussions to gauge interest and feedback on our proposed structure. We anticipate this sector of our business model to take a longer time frame to initiate, as it will take time to implement our proposed system.

LAN Centers
We continue to have excellent discussions with people interested in the LAN Center/VR Center space. We are looking to partner with the right organization in order to create the right situation. Our main goal here is whatever model we initiate, it must be able to scale properly.

As I have mentioned before, we like this space, yet find it difficult to find the right business model for us to scale. In reviewing the normal LAN model, I find it too skinny for my taste when it comes to profit per location. A large part of LAN models show that profits come from sundry income such as food and drinks. We don’t particularly like a model that requires too much effort in keeping food, snacks and drinks in house. This potentially creates too many moving pieces for us to worry about when it comes to scaling the business. However, we do see great potential with the competitive parts of a LAN model and will continue to move forward with finding the right fit for us.

We have also spent time reviewing the VR (Virtual Reality) model, of which, I like more than a typical LAN Center. We are currently exploring several options in this space and hope to finalize our due diligence later this month.

As I have said many times over, we will not invest in this space until we feel that we have the formula to be successful and scalable.

In conclusion, we have made nice progress moving the chains down the field in our Minecraft Division. I am proud of our development team and have a very high confidence level in them and their ability to scale the Minecraft Division into something financially meaningful for GMER. We also continue to make progress with our vision of developing various models that will help us to diversify into Tournaments and Leagues, as well as the LAN Center/VR space. As progress continues, we will be sure to keep our shareholders abreast of our milestones.

Until next month, game away!

David B. Dorwart
