SILICON SLOPES, Utah, March 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Teem, a developer of cloud-based meeting tools and workplace analytics helping companies maximize workspace and collaborate more effectively, today announced four new executives to its marketing, sales and engineering teams. Scott Jensen brings over 18 years of experience to lead marketing strategy at Teem. An expert in the commercial furniture industry, Ryan Anderson will help the Teem suite of solutions to satisfy the demands of customers who want to improve their workplace experience and optimize their use of space. As Senior Director of Engineering, Jeremy Smith joins Teem to direct all engineering efforts. Teem also hired Blake Hunsaker as Director of Global Sales, to guide sales efforts for Teem in the worldwide enterprise and commercial markets.

“The talent and expertise that both Scott and Ryan bring to the table will help Teem continue to elevate our workplace technology offerings to bring efficient, frictionless work environments to more companies. With over 20 years of experience leading and growing software and solution companies, Jeremy brings an incredible amount of depth to our team. Blake brings first-hand experience in developing exceptional teams in high growth companies, and we couldn't be more excited about the momentum of the market and the company,” said Shaun Ritchie, CEO and co-founder of Teem. “Teem has worked hard to expand our product offering through tech advancements and partnerships, and we’re excited to see how our new team takes that momentum even further.”

Before Teem, Scott served as SVP of marketing at TravelPASS Group, where he oversaw the strategic direction and management of multiple product teams. Prior to this, as VP of marketing at Instructure, Scott helped lead the SaaS developer to a successful IPO. Scott will help Teem advance its marketing efforts through his experience building high-functioning teams and brands. Ryan brings years of leadership experience from the commercial office furniture industry, helping Teem better understand this market as its meeting tools and workplace analytics solutions expand to resolve additional workplace friction. Prior to Teem, Ryan spent five years at Herman Miller as director of commercialization and business development. Meanwhile,  Blake joins Teem from Pluralsight, where he spent the last 4 years contributing to its rapid growth and explosion onto the market. At Pluralsight, Blake oversaw the Enterprise Public Sector Business. Prior to joining Teem Jeremy was CTO of SambaSafety an industry leading, software-as-a-service driver risk management platform.

These additions to Teem’s C-suite, follow a strong year for the company, as key partnerships with Amazon’s “Alexa for Business,” Crestron, Current by GE and Enlightened, integrated voice assistance and smart sensor touch-free automation to its stable of meeting tools and analytics. Partnerships that bring to market new solutions that reduce workplace friction and streamline workflow through more efficient and productive experiences for employees.

“Workplace experience is more important than ever as companies navigate new challenges, new tools and new environments.
