Small Business Sought To Provide Large Weed-sprayer on Federal Contract for the Department of Forestry in Idaho

Federal Contracting Assistance Available for US Federal Contractor Registration

Boise, Idaho, March 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

The Department of Forestry is taking quotes from small businesses to provide a 250- to 300-gallon weed-sprayer in Idaho's Panhandle National Forest. Quotes are only being considered from small businesses in the "Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing" North American Industry Classification Code. The last day a business can submit a quote is March 19, 2018. For assistance meeting this deadline with proper registrations and a strong offer, small businesses may use third-party government registration firm, US Federal Contractor Registration.

The specifications for the weed-sprayer are found on the federal business opportunity solicitation. Businesses will see on the solicitation that the device must have a nine-horsepower motor, a 600ft nylon hose, a spray gun, a polyethylene tank, a rinse tank for hand washing, two marine grade aluminum toolboxes and other more technical specifications. For a complete listing of the requirements businesses may use the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP) to perform further research and understand the contracting officer's history with procurement of this nature.

This is a quick solicitation directed toward small businesses. If a business has never provided to the government before or has let their annual registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) expire, they may need help drawing up a quote and meeting minimum requirements for submitting a quote. For assistance with all of these matters, US Federal Contractor Registration is standing by to provide.

US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR) is the world’s largest third-party government registration firm. They are specially in tune with the needs of small businesses. They have helped thousands of entities translate their capabilities into the U.S. Government’s language and systems with the Simplified Acquisition Program, bid training and proposal writing services. They not only register companies on their behalf in SAM, but also have pioneered the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP). APP shows active and historical federal business opportunity information in the same place, simplifying market research. Active federal buyers and vendors are not only cataloged in APP, but also are also using the system, creating a powerful network. Businesses who partner with USFCR will be able dedicate their complete effort toward their performance on a contract, rather than the acquisition of it.
