Tanenbaum Keale Welcomes Partner Malika Johnson

Trial Attorney Joins the Firm’s Seattle Office


Newark, NJ, March 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tanenbaum Keale LLP is pleased to announce that trial attorney Malika Johnson has joined the firm as a partner in its Seattle office. 

Johnson focuses her practice representing corporate defendants in toxic tort, product liability, medical device and personal injury litigation and has practiced at the trial and appellate levels. As a former prosecuting attorney, she leverages her trial experience and thorough understanding of the trial process to guide clients through complex litigation.

She joins partner Christopher Marks and associates Erin Fraser and Alice Serko, who opened the Seattle office on January 1st and represent Tanenbaum Keale clients in California, Oregon and Washington.

Prior to joining the firm, Johnson spent six years serving as deputy prosecuting attorney for the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. She also practiced law as a partner at Williams Kastner for nearly four years.

Johnson is a member of the Judicial Evaluation Committee for the Washington State Bar Association and admitted to practice law in New York and Washington. She earned her law degree cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University, as well as a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Albany. During law school, she externed for U.S. District Senior Court Judge Lawrence E. Kahn and U.S. Magistrate Judge Randolph Treece. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Cruz in community studies.
