Efecte Plc: Efecte's CEO will change
Efecte Plc's CEO Sakari Suhonen has been working in Germany since January to support the growth of Efecte's German operations. Suhonen has decided to remain in Germany after his assignment there and will take a sabbatical leave. For this reason, the company and Suhonen have agreed that Suhonen will leave the company later this year, at a time to be agreed later. The company has started the search for a new CEO aiming for an orderly CEO change by the end of the year. If necessary, the CFO Hannu Nyman will act as the CEO during the possible transition period.
"Our German operations are progressing as planned, and the team we hired last fall is fully engaged in sales work. We are already working on dozens of active sales prospects, and we expect those to start contributing to our net sales during the summer months. Originally my German assignment was planned to end after the summer, but my family and I have decided to stay here for a longer period and spend more time together. As the company is in good shape regarding growth and outlook, the Finnish organisation has proven its ability to operate well and the German team is working at full speed, this is a suitable moment for me to leave the CEO position", says Sakari Suhonen.
Chairman of the board Pertti Ervi comments: "Sakari has significantly developed the company during his five years as the CEO. Efecte's whole product and service offering has been renewed and the company is on a strong growth path. The successful listing to First North ended one phase towards an international software vendor, and now we aim for strong growth, especially in the international markets, with fresh management."
