LACTHOSA RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR ITS CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAMS


Mexico, May 2018., May 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) awarded Lacthosa the recognition “Commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility 2018", due to its public and voluntary undertaking of a socially responsible management in Honduras.

 

To apply for the award, Lacthosa submitted evidence of their commitment to continuous improvement in the areas of quality of life at the company, ethics and business governance, links with the community and protection and preservation of the environment; these evidences were evaluated by a committee of experts at  Cemefi, among other Mexican organizations and institutions.

 

The award ceremony was held within the framework of the XI Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Goals" in Mexico City, where leading companies from the Latin American region received awards, among them, Lacthosa was the only company in the dairy sector in Honduras to receive this honor.
