Create® Health Plans Further Expands in NJ with Addition of Saint Clare’s Health

Saint Clare’s Health joins growing list of NJ-based health systems available on Create

NEW YORK, June 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brighton Health Plan Solutions, a leading health care enablement company, announced the addition of Saint Clare’s Health to Create, the first and only marketplace of health care systems in the tri-state area. This new partnership marks the fourth New Jersey-based health system available on Create, bringing tailored health benefits and affordable, personalized care to even more people in the state and across the region.

Create health plans are offered to commercial, labor, and public sector plan sponsors as an alternative to traditional open access health plans, allowing members to shop on a user-centric, cloud-based platform and select a single integrated health system as the medical network from which to receive all of their care. Its innovative model helps improve quality of care, builds stronger doctor-patient relationships, encourages care coordination, and immediately lowers costs for both plan sponsors and members.

“Since our team introduced Create in 2017, the positive response we’ve received from businesses, Taft-Hartley funds, municipalities, and health care systems across the tri-state area has been overwhelming,” said Simeon Schindelman, CEO of Brighton Health Plan Solutions. “Our new partnership with Saint Clare’s Health serves as yet another proof point of the value of Create. This further advances our mission of transforming the region’s health care model that aligns the interests of health care providers, families, and plan sponsors, and making affordable, high-quality care the new norm.”

Saint Clare’s Health offers a full range of comprehensive medical services to communities throughout Morris and Sussex counties in New Jersey. With a wide network of hospitals and health care facilities, Saint Clare’s Health offers cancer care, cardiovascular care, emergency medicine, behavioral health, women’s health, maternity care, bariatric surgery, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery, and rehabilitation and sports medicine.

“At Saint Clare’s Health, we take pride in not only providing the highest quality care, but also going above and beyond to ensure all care is tailored to the needs of each individual patient,” said Brian Finestein, CEO, Saint Clare’s Health. “We’re proud to be partnering with Create, a health care model that was built around the concept of encouraging coordinated care between doctors, leading to more personalized care for patients. By leveraging our shared goals, we’re excited to see the impact of our partnership.”

Additional health systems available through Create include New Jersey-based Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Saint Peter’s Healthcare System; and New York-based Mount Sinai Health System and Long Island Health Network.
