Affeldt also authored “To Stir a Movement: Life, Justice, and Major League Baseball,” which profiles his journey from professional baseball player to an active community leader, advocating to end human trafficking and addressing world hunger. Affeldt is also the co-founder of Generation Alive, a nonprofit organization that works to inspire young people through service to others.
