Dr. Karray is the University of Waterloo’s Research Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and the co-director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He holds the Loblaw’s Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence, has co-authored two dozen US patents and chaired/co-chaired 14 international conferences in his area of Artificial Portfolio expertise.

Dr. Fakhri Karray is the University Research Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and the co-director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Waterloo. He is also the director of the University’s Center for Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence. He holds the Loblaw’s Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence.
