CSO Recognizes the Top Security Initiatives Demonstrating Business Value & Thought Leadership

The 2019 CSO50 honorees are driving innovation in the security field, implementing world class security strategies and practices

Boston, Mass., Oct. 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IDG’s CSO – the premier security media brand providing insight into business risk leadership – is proud to announce the 2019 CSO50 Award winners (click to tweet). Each year, CSO recognizes 50 organizations for security projects and initiatives that demonstrate outstanding business value and thought leadership. Evaluated by a judging committee including security experts, academics and CSOs, the CSO editorial team selected the 50 honorees based on details provided in their nomination.

“This year’s class of CSO50 award winners raise the bar on security innovation,” said Amy Bennett, executive editor, CSO. “While delivering business value and demonstrating thought leadership are the metrics on which they are measured, the greater value is in the peer-to-peer sharing of ideas, approaches and best practices across a range of industries and company sizes. The magic really happens on the stage at the CSO50 conference when these projects are brought to life in presentations and panel discussions. It is an honor to give them the recognition they deserve.”

The 2019 award winners will be honored at the annual CSO50 Conference + Awards Ceremony taking place April 8-10, in Scottsdale, Arizona – marking CSO’s 16th year producing groundbreaking conferences for CSOs and security innovators. The 2019 CSO50 Awards + Conference will focus on “Leveraging World Class Security Strategies” by combining keynote sessions and short format presentations designed to deliver a range of thought leadership ideas, concepts and trends that will shape the future of IT security and risk management.

“The CSO50 Conference + Awards is the nation’s leading CSO thought leadership conference,” said Bob Bragdon, SVP/Publisher, CSO. “Our program of fast-moving, rapid fire presentations delivered by top security leaders will demonstrate how forward-thinking organizations are embracing today’s challenges and preparing for the future. We look forward to bringing together CSO50 Award honorees and elite security vendors at this great event, where attendees will learn from the best about solving their security challenges.”
