Born and raised in Queens, New York, Graves decided to continue his passion for football at Texas Tech where he major in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. However, as much as he loved football, his heart yearned for music prompting his to transfer to South Plains College where he graduated with this Bachelors in Sound Engineering.
Post graduation he relocated to Houston, TX where he advanced his skills in business management, leadership, sales, and marketing. Thus, acquired his first multi-million dollar client and founded Kaizen MG, Inc.
“I chose to name the company Kaizen because I’m always looking to improve, not only professional but in all aspects of life. Kaizen is a Japanese word that means continuous improvement, which is the heart of the company’s culture.” Graves said.
After researching entry-level careers, he found that the most promising opportunities required years of experience. Though it was a frustrating realization, Graves decided to dedicate his time and energy to providing entry-level training opportunities that could lead to long-term careers. Opportunities not only for college graduates but also entrepreneur-minded individuals from all walks of life, degree or no degree.
Since opening in Tyler, Kaizen MG has grown into two regional locations with hopes of joining forces with three more local clients, proving the company’s flexibility and versatility.
The company has continuously been in the national spotlight due to their ability to hit the ground running. Graves explains that he owes a lot of their success to the initiative of his team.
The Kaizen MG award-winning team has announced their immediate need for confident individuals with a student mentality, as 7 local associate positions need to be filled.
No business, marketing or sales experience is necessary, however athletic experience and a competitive or team-oriented background is preferred. Graduates from the University of Texas at Tyler, Texas College, and Tyler Junior College are given priority through the interview process.
