XIOS/3 selected as winner of Red Herring and recognized as one of the 100 hottest startups in Europe

The Swedish deep-tech wonder XIOS/3 has been selected as winner of the Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award in Amsterdam

Linkoping, Feb. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- XIOS/3 today announced the receipt of the prestigious Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award that honors the most promising startups throughout Europe.

The finalists for this years edition of the Red Herring 100 Europe Award was selected based on the merits of technical innovations, execution capability of the team, market size, potential customers, financial viability and the sustainability of the business model. This unique evaluation of growth potential makes it possible for Red Herring to see past temporary market noise, which makes the Top 100 list an important instrument to discover the companies that have the most promising future prospects.

XIOS/3’s technology streamlines and digitalizes the IT environment for enterprises. The business idea originated from the need many companies face with complexities of IT systems causing employees to constantly jump between applications. Software that is not well integrated cause inefficiencies, allowing more digitized competitors to leap frog. With XIOS/3, a virtual workspace is created that makes everything connected in a modern business environment, including more efficient by digitizing processes.

The company’s CTO, Martin Nilsson, former senior architect for the Opera Mini browser, says: ”XIOS/3 introduces a whole new way of creating a uniform overview of a business. Processes and user interfaces can be customized and automated with simple means, and with more than one system integrated, data can quickly move between them to further streamline the work. With XIOS/3, all this can happen without the company having to replace existing systems and thereby decoupling the users’ needs from the underlying technology.”

Companies that previously won the award include iCloud, Skype, Spotify, Alibaba, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, and Salesforce.

"It is an honor to get this recognition from Red Herring. We believe that we represent the future of IT and with our patented technology it is possible to make the world a little better. Getting the Top 100 award in Europe is a quality mark and a first step in our plans to make the company grow by expanding globally. Our minds are set to become a future unicorn.”, says CEO Karl Hyltberg.
