World Farms Corp Appoints International Businessman Arthur Griffiths as Director & CEO


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WORLD FARMS CORP. (“World”) announced today Arthur Griffiths has joined the board of directors and been appointed the Chief Executive Officer.

Arthur Griffiths, Founder and CEO of Arthur Griffiths and Associates is a well-known Vancouver businessman.  He previously owned the Vancouver Canucks NHL franchise, the Vancouver Grizzlies NBA franchise and built the privately financed multi-purpose sports arena venue General Motors Place now called Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.

Griffiths is involved in a variety of enterprises, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial Consulting as well as several years of bullion, fuel, oil and gas trading.  He has extensive international experience in finance, real estate, retail, and sports.

He is a philanthropist and has been a former candidate for political office. He brings significant business and corporate financial experience and extensive network to World Farms Corp.

Throughout his career, Griffiths has focused on three key areas: initiatives and creative ideas, building businesses and leading people. His experience is deep and wide-ranging: from corporate matters and finance to family businesses, family wealth management and related succession planning.

Griffiths chaired the Vancouver/Whistler 2010 Bid Society which helped to bring the 2010 Winter Olympics to Vancouver. Most recently, he was inducted into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the W.A.C Bennett Award, given to an individual who has made “…a significant, unique and lasting contribution to sport in the Province of British Columbia.”
