Misonix Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock


FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Jan. 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Misonix, Inc. (Nasdaq: MSON) (“Misonix” or the “Company”), a provider of minimally invasive therapeutic ultrasonic medical devices and regenerative products that enhance clinical outcomes, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 1,625,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $18.50 per share. The gross proceeds from this offering are expected to be $30 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions, and offering expenses payable by Misonix. The offering is expected to close on or about January 27, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.  In addition, Misonix has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 243,750 shares of its common stock on the same terms and conditions.

Misonix intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include investment in sales and marketing initiatives and funding growth opportunities such as collaborations and acquisitions of complementary products or technologies.
