The report provides a market analysis of the top mobile devices based on open programmatic ad traffic across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America (LATAM), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) in March 2024.

Market share of voice (SOV) is determined by the percentage of open programmatic ads sold that are associated with specific device types within each region, as measured by Pixalate.

  • Samsung ranks second (15%) in global SOV, down 2% YoY 
  • Xiaomi ranks third (8%) in global market SOV, up 41% YoY 
  • Huawei ranks fourth (6%) in global SOV, up 12% YoY
  • Oppo ranks fifth (4%) in global SOV, up 18% YoY
  • Apple iPhone ranks No. 1 in North America (66%) and EMEA (36%) and APAC (28%)
    • Huawei is nearing Apple iPhone’s market share in China, reaching 20% SOV in Q1 2024, a +524% YoY increase
  • Samsung ranks No. 1 in LATAM (23%)
