DP World Americas Internship Program Recognized in Vault's 2027 Rankings

Program earns two Top 10 placements for inclusion as DP World expands opportunities for emerging talent across the Americas

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DP World has earned two Top 10 placements in Vault's 2027 Internship Rankings, ranking No. 1 (tied) for Best Internships for LGBTQ+ People and No. 8 for Overall Inclusion. The company was recognized across all four inclusion categories, highlighting its commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for emerging talent in the Americas.

In addition to its two Top 10 placements, DP World ranked No. 13 (tied) for Best Internships for People of Color and No. 52 (tied) for Best Internships for Women.

The recognition comes as DP World continues to invest in its Americas Internship Program, which provides university students with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects across the company's global trade and logistics operations.

Patricia Baez, Senior Vice President – People, DP World in the Americas, said: “These rankings are a reflection of the inclusive, supportive environment we're building for the next generation of talent. Our interns bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that make a real impact on our business. We're proud to provide opportunities where young professionals can contribute, develop their skills, and see a future for themselves in global trade and logistics.”

Launched in 2025, DP World’s Americas Internship Program welcomed an inaugural class of 13 university students for a 10-week experience across ports, logistics, finance, IT, and HR. Interns worked on real business challenges, contributing to initiatives that improved operational efficiency, strengthened compliance, and streamlined processes, including projects with significant projected cost savings.

Building on the success of its inaugural year, DP World more than doubled the program in 2026, welcoming 27 interns across the Americas. The expansion reflects the company's growing investment in early-career talent and its commitment to providing more students with opportunities to gain practical industry experience.

The program also provides mentorship, professional development, facility tours, and direct engagement with senior executives. Interns conclude their experience by presenting their projects to regional leadership, demonstrating the value of their contributions to the business.

Vault's annual internship rankings are based on feedback from interns about their experiences, evaluating programs across categories including inclusion, career development, compensation and benefits, networking opportunities, and employment prospects.
