Potential to treat brain disorders through magnetic fields.

Dr Putrino presenting on Fareon Restore at ISLC PAID 2026

Dr. David Putrino, Nash Family Director of the Cohen Center for Recovery from Complex Chronic Illness at Mount Sinai presented the first peer-reviewed clinical data linking a low-intensity, radiofrequency electromagnetic field to improved working memory, verbal learning, processing speed, and emotional wellbeing. Dr. Putrino is lead investigator of the study involving participants with debilitating Long COVID brain fog who self-administered Microtesla Magnetic Therapy (MMT) in their homes for 15-minutes twice weekly for four weeks. The noninvasive biophysics treatment, Fareon Restore, was linked to protein markers for reduced inflammation and injury, increased repair, and lower predicted brain age as well as patient-reported improvements in cognition and mood.
