Eero Sipilä, M.Sc.(Soc.), has been appointed Vice President, Human Resources in Kemira Group as of 1 March 2000. He will assume his new duties as a successor to Orvo Rauma who will retire in the summer.
Eero Sipilä has been in the employment of the Kemira Group in several positions from 1985 on, e.g. as Vice President, Human Resources, in 1990-1996. In 1996 Eero Sipilä was appointed Site Manager in Kemira Pigments' Pori plants. During the past few months he has been involved in duties to do with Kemira Pigments' organization and process development.
The transfer of duties in personnel management will proceed gradually. Initially Eero Sipilä will concentrate on the planning and implementation of programmes supporting the Group's change process. Eero Sipilä will report in his new position to Tauno Pihlava, CEO.
