With tomorrow's networks, profitability requires building coverage and capacity for mobile multimedia services. Now with the widest range of WCDMA base stations available, we aim to give operators freedom in their 3G development strategies," says Jukka Auramo, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, IP Mobility Networks, Nokia Networks.
All 3G band allocations are supported with these new products All provide widest WCDMA service area and support the innovative Nokia Smart Radio Concept. With Nokia SRC, operators can improve capacity by up to 75% and use roughly 30 % fewer sites compared to traditional network rollout methods.
All Nokia WCDMA base stations are 3GPP standards compliant from day one, meeting the need for interoperability in future multivendor networks.
