Nokia Game kicks off with half a million players across Europe

The all media Nokia Game kicked off successfully on November 1 with approximately half a million registered players in 18 countries across Europe. Players received an email encouraging them to look for the first clue on their national television stations or on the game website the very same night.

The adventure started off with players witnessing a dramatic scene in a TV commercial depicting a hospital emergency room where doctors were only just able to save the life of a young man who had been brought in apparently after some sort of accident. After this, the commercial directed players to a web site to find out more about this mysterious event and the identity of the main character in this fictional story, which they have now become a part of.

"There is an exciting month ahead for the players. Fabulous clues have been set up, which will challenge their problem solving skills and lead them through a unique adventure. We wish them all the best of luck and hope they enjoy the game," said Mika Sarimo, Marketing Communications Manager, Marketing Services, Nokia Mobile Phones.

Having stepped into the shoes of the main character, players will face many more mysteries and puzzles to solve, proceeding from one stage of the game to the next, trying to stay connected all the way to the final on Friday, December 1. They will be driven by clues planted in all imaginable media, such as the Internet, TV, radio, voicemail, SMS, magazines and newspapers.
